I was tasked with redesigning the packaging for Derwent art supplies, specifically their graphite, colored, and charcoal pencils. Instead of their typical tin containers, I created a drawer-style box to help the packaging stand out from similar products used across multiple brands. The design uses Derwent’s dark blue color palette, accented with a gold ribbon that wraps around the box to bring the design together. I also chose to use simple illustrations of pencils rather than the expressive drawings commonly found on art supply packaging.
